Flåm is a small town situated in Aurland municipality at the end of Aurlandsfjorden, an arm of Sognefjorden. Tourism is important for this small town, with almost 450.000 visitors a year. Surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys, Flåm is a paradise for everyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience with nature.
Flåm can offer several nature-based activities, many nearby attractions, exciting culture and historic traditions. Most people come to either ride Rallarvegen from Finse or to enjoy a spectacular 20-kilometer-long ride of Flåmsdalen with Flåmsbana.

Transportation Information [edit]
Flåm can be reached by train, bus, car or by boat. By train you should choose either line 41 Oslo - Bergen or 45 Bergen - Myrdal to Myrdal, and then change to the well known Flåmsbana (42 Myrdal - Flåm).
